Yesterday, I did some granite shopping for Kelp Sushi Joint. I am always amazed by the beauty of natural products. Plus, I love taking little field trips and getting out and looking at different items. Check out these beauties!

I stumbled across this slab and fell in love with it! I am dying to use it somewhere... I think I have the perfect residential project for it...

Kelp Sushi Joint - Tampa Bay Dining

You may have seen the posts on Facebook, I've been busy working on another great restaurant coming to the Tampa Bay area. Lots of planning, lots of creative energy, lots of good things! (And still in the process)

Now, the permits are pulled and construction is underway, I can finally fill you in on the details! Excited to announce, one of the newest restaurants coming to South Tampa:

Kelp Sushi Joint, will be located at 3401 W. Bay to Bay Blvd. Tampa, Florida.

St. Petersburg beauty: Cassis American Brasserie

Last Thursday, I spent the day strolling around beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. My grandmother was in town from out of state, so her, my mom and myself enjoyed the lovely day. I really enjoy days like this, when you can be a tourist in your own town!

My grandmother loved the funky horse on the 600 Block!

 

One of my favorite things about these kind of days, is finding places or meeting people you never knew. It's very energizing and I find it very inspiring!

 

Walking about I stumbled accross Cassis American Brasserie on Beach Drive. The restaruant boasts a beautiful sculpture that catches the most beautiful sunlight creating amazing colors dancing on the side walk.

We already had lunch, so we weren't very hungry, however in addition to the restaurant, there is a great little bakery off to the side, so we stopped in for some coffee. I was so pleased with the simple decor.

 

One thing I love most about the space is the floor design! This is one of my all time favorite patterns, it looked great in the space...

 

 

 

Such a clean palette, the beautiful sorbet display provides such visual eye candy in contrast to the shiny while tile and black and white graphic pattern.

 

 

Oh and did I mention their assortment of divine pastries? So beautiful!

 

So happy I stumbled across this pretty little place, can't wait to try out the actual restaraunt sometime, they offer a great happy hour, maybe I will see you there!

A new restaurant is coming to South Tampa!

Some of you may have already heard the news, but just in case you haven't, Lisa Gilmore Design is designing  an exciting new restaurant coming to South Tampa, specifically in Hyde Park Village.

So, let me introduce to you Piquant!

There is a lot in store for this new place! Check out a bit here, they were featured in the Tampa Bay Times. So in the next few weeks, when you are shopping at Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn & Williams Sonoma, make sure you stop in on the corner and see what they have to offer.
